  • Cars: Fine of 18 – 20 million VND, 4 driving points deducted; if causing an accident: 20 – 22 million VND, 10 points deducted.

Wrong lane usage (cars): 4 – 6 million VND fine, 2 points deducted; if causing an accident: 20 – 22 million VND, 10 points deducted (Article 6).

Driving in the wrong direction (motorbikes): 4 – 6 million VND fine, 2 points deducted; if causing an accident: 10 – 14 million VND, 10 points deducted (Clauses 7 and 13, Article 7).
